Cherian Varghese

With more than 24 years’ experience in the ICT industry, Cherian has led various divisions within Oracle globally, where he played a pivotal role in helping organizations achieve strategic growth objectives with Oracle technology solutions. Prior to his appointment, Cherian was the Senior Vice President for MEA Technology Software business. Cherian was also serving as Regional Managing Director & Vice President for ASEAN helping drive revenue growth and ensuring client satisfaction. He also served as Managing Director for Africa, where he is a key advocate of Africa’s growth potential, one that he firmly believes can be realized by harnessing the power of digital technologies. In Africa, Cherian was credited with rapidly expanding Oracle’s footprint by setting up multiple offices across key countries. Cherian also has experience working in Oracle offices in Asia Pacific and Middle East.
