AJ Abdallat is the Chief Executive Officer of Beyond Limits, and a member of the Advisory Board for Caltech Center for Autonomous Systems and Technologies (CAST). Beyond Limits is a spinoff company from Caltech/NASA Jet propulsion Laboratory (JPL) and is based in the greater Los Angeles area. Beyond Limits is a pioneering artificial intelligence engineering company creating advanced software solutions for the most demanding industries including energy, utilities, healthcare, fintech, defense and intelligent infrastructure. AJ has over 25 years’ experience building high-tech startups in the fields of bio-inspired artificial intelligence, reasoning systems, edge intelligence and smart sensors. Prior to launching Beyond Limits, AJ was co-founder and CEO of several Caltech/ NASA JPL startups where he raised over $500M in venture and strategic investment and led several startup companies to successful exists. AJ holds a Master of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Missouri and a Bachelor of Science from the University of California at Berkeley.
